Camp Status:

We are working to finishing stage 1 of  camp development.  We have finished the title transfer and are completing the purchase processes on the camp property which includes dealing with squatters on the property and fencing the boundaries. We have developed a master plan for the site and are in the initial stages of development. 

Our goal for 2010 is to complete stage 1. Stage 1 of our development includes finishing the purchase process,  build an initial road, construct additional latrines, showers, and a kitchen,  construct staff housing for our Ugandan staff, and purchase a tipper (dump truck) to enable construction to move forward.  Our aim is to have facilities so that we can effectively host 60 people. 

Camp Needs:

1. 1. Staff - We need both western and Ugandan staff as we begin the camp.  We have a specific need for a nurse/doctor for the camp and the community.
   

2. 2. Funding - We need approximately $111,000 to complete Stage 1.  For more details on this please contact us.
   

3. 3.Program Equipment -  kick boards for teaching swim lessons,  billiard balls,  inner tubes,
   

4. 4.Machinery - our primary need is a tipper (dump truck)
